I need gamers to write gaming articles for this site. You wouldn't get paid or anything, but you would be well known on this site in general, and would have a better chance of a game developer requesting you to test their games in hopes that you would write an article about it. lol~

Your article should include:

• The name of the game (duh)
• A link to the game's website
• The name of the game makers (i.e.-Nexon)
• The game's system requirements
• Default control setup difficulty (easy to use or not) with explaination
• Graphics quality
• Frame rate quality (jumpy?)
• Your own personal opinions (obviously)
• What others think (if you talked to anyone else who plays it)
• Background story information for the game
• Playable character types (if any)
• Goals in the game you are supposed to achieve (as part of the story line [such as "rescue the princess" for end game Mario])

This is the minimum of what the article should include. All articles would be approved by me, or an Editor Admin which I would appoint at a later time. Let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions.



No, they can be about any type of game out there. They can even be about older games. A kind of "A look back" type theme. Since this site doesn't cater to just one type of game, the articles should be just as diverse. So pretty much, everyone who comes here should find a game they like that has been written about, whether they have played it and liked it, or they read the article and would like to play it.

The big types of articles I am wanting over others are of games that: are coming out (kind of like a "This game looks like it will/will not be worthwhile"); games that have just recently come out; games that have updates/expansions (such as WoW, FFXI, etc...); MMORPG's that are about to have a "festival" or some other type of special event in-game.

However, any game review is fine. Of course, when I am getting more articles that I need at one time, I will either hold some articles back so that I can showcase them the next time I update the headline rotator, or I will not put some in the headline rotator. In the latter case, I would choose the articles that fit the above description over older game reviews (unless of course the review is just a really good review).

I've never written articles about games before, but I'll give it a shot.

That's fine. I proof-read all of the articles before they are finalized anyways. Give it a shot and I'll tell you what I think. I will probably only have 5 or 6 editors, besides myself, total since I only need 4 articles a month, but I may go to having 4 every 2 weeks, and will then get more. Right now, I only have 3 that said they even want to do it (including yourself), so there are still spots open.

It would just be posted under VGT Gaming Articles. I would read it then approve it before anyone else would actually be able to see it, that way I can also make an image for it and link to it from the main page's image rotator.
