Game   Description
Just started making it, and don't really know where it is going yet. YouTube video

Right now, see if you can collect all 4 mags of ammo. 2 are extremely easy, and the other two are just a bit tougher.

You can now download what I have so far by clicking the game's homepage link. You will need to download and install Blender before following these steps in order to play this game.

To play this game:

  • Extract FPS-Shooter.zip

  • Double-Click "FPS-Shooter"

  • Open With "Blenderplayer" (Located wherever you installed Blender at)

Blackpawn, who has 64bit Vista OS, said he had to do the following:

1. download your game
2. download and in stall either the 32Bit or 64Bit version of blender
3. download and install Python 2.6
4. download the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistribution Package (x64) and install
5. open your file directory to where you installed Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistribution Package (x64) and copy the vcomp90.dll
6. go to where you installed blender and replace the copy of vcomp90.dll with the one from the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistribution Package (x64)

It sounds like you may not need to download C++ if you can get the .dll file directly. I'm not sure, though, since I haven't tried installing this on my vista machine. I will try, though, and let you know.

Nothing right now...

Some known issues with the game so far...
  • Can't turn left/right at startup until you wiggle the mouse a little

  • If you let go of the crouch button, you don't come back up until you move again

  • While shooting, you can barely change direction

  • If you jump and hit an object, you immediately stop moving forward, making it almost impossible to get up the stairs and such
